From UnoPim to ainavio in 2–4 weeks
UnoPim is an open-source PIM by Webkul built on Laravel. ainavio takes over your attribute families, attribute groups and configurable products, maps them with AI and reconnects your shops and marketplaces.
What you keep
From UnoPim you keep:
- simple and configurable products with variants

- attributes, attribute groups and attribute families
- channels, locales and currencies
- media from the DAM
UnoPim exports CSV, XLSX or ZIP and offers a REST API. ainavio reads the data as it is, no restructuring upfront.
How does the migration work?
Five steps, usually within two to four weeks.
1. Export and import. You export products, categories and attributes from UnoPim as CSV or XLSX. ainavio reads the files.
2. AI mapping. ainavio uses attribute families and groups as a proposal for your attribute structure and maps locale values to language variants. Existing fields are matched, missing ones are created once you confirm.
3. Review and approve. Before the import you see every product, every new category and every new attribute in a list and remove what does not fit.
4. Migrate every product in batches. The mapping applies to the data model, not to each product. Then every product runs through ainavio in the background. You review samples.
5. Reconnect shops and marketplaces. The Marketplace Agent maps your data to the categories and mandatory attributes of Amazon, OTTO, Kaufland, Mirakl, Shopify, Shopware and more. UnoPim can keep running in parallel.
Good to know
With version 3.0 of July 2026 UnoPim moved to Laravel 13. According to Webkul, existing OAuth tokens become invalid during the upgrade and some admin URLs change. If that upgrade is still ahead of you, it is a good moment to look at a switch. As of November 2026, please verify directly with Webkul.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a switch from UnoPim to ainavio take?
Data migration usually takes two to four weeks, depending on data volume, the number of attribute families and channels and your approvals.
Do I need API access for the export?
No. A CSV or XLSX export from UnoPim is enough to start. Whether the REST API is useful as well, we clarify in the migration check.
What happens to configurable products?
Parent product and variants are taken over together. ainavio maps the attributes that define the variants to the matching attributes.
