ainavio takes over your data objects with classes, localized fields, classification store and variants from Pimcore, maps them with AI to a lean product data model and reconnects your shops and marketplaces.
Pimcore describes itself as an open core platform for data and experience management. For the switch, what counts is the product data you built in it:
The data reaches ainavio via the Datahub (REST or GraphQL) or, depending on your edition, as a file export in CSV, XML or JSON. ainavio reads it the way Pimcore delivers it.
Five steps, usually within two to four weeks.
1. Export and import. You provide the product data via the Datahub or as an export file. ainavio reads data objects, assets and translations.
2. AI mapping. ainavio maps the fields of your classes to the matching attributes and localized fields to language variants. Groups and keys from the classification store are proposed as attribute groups and attributes. Missing items are created once you confirm; existing ones are never renamed or overwritten.
3. Review and approve. Before the import you see every product, every new category and every new attribute in a list and remove what does not fit.
4. Migrate every product in batches. The mapping applies to the data model, not to each object. Then every product runs through ainavio in the background. You review samples.
5. Reconnect shops and marketplaces. The Marketplace Agent maps your data to the categories and mandatory attributes of Amazon, OTTO, Kaufland, Mirakl, Shopify, Shopware and more. Pimcore can keep running in parallel until the last channel has moved.
With platform version 2025.1 Pimcore moved its licence from GPLv3 to the Pimcore Open Core License (POCL). Since version 2026.1 of April 2026, Pimcore Studio is the only admin interface and Datahub configurations have to be migrated for it. According to Pimcore, the LTS period of 2024.4, the last GPLv3 version, ends in December 2026. As of November 2026, please verify directly with Pimcore.
Data migration usually takes two to four weeks. The exact duration depends on data volume, the number of your classes and channels and your approvals.
No. If your edition has no file export, the data comes via the Datahub interface or another export from your setup. We agree on the right route in the migration check.
ainavio reads groups and fields and proposes attributes and attribute groups from them. You review the proposal before anything is created.
Send us an export of your product data. You get an assessment of the mapping and how long the switch will take.
