Waschguru, operated by Dukano GbR, is one of Germany's leading online suppliers of professional car care products. Since its founding in 2017, the company has grown steadily and now has more than 4,000 m² of warehouse space and a range of over 40 premium brands. Through a combination of e-commerce, an affiliated automotive and detailing business, and collaboration with independent experts such as the YouTube channel XaronFR, Waschguru has in-depth practical knowledge and a clear competitive advantage in the market.
Waschguru has grown steadily in recent years and has continued to expand its product range and sales channels. With the planned expansion into additional marketplaces, the requirements for managing and providing product data have significantly increased. However, the existing system landscape was only designed for limited growth, making it necessary to take a closer look at product data processes in order to create a scalable basis for further development.

Compiling technical data, application instructions, and hazardous goods labels required intensive research and numerous consultations.
Manual processing led to noticeable delays, especially for new products or brands.
The planned connection of additional marketplaces would have required considerable additional maintenance effort without a central database.
Different formats and sources made it difficult to present product information in a consistent and complete manner.
At the start of the project, three key objectives were defined in order to simplify product data processes and reliably support future growth.
1. Faster release of new products
New products should be able to be released more quickly—supported by automated data preparation and clearly structured workflows.
2. Simpler connection of additional sales channels
Product information should be managed centrally and be able to be distributed to existing and future channels without additional maintenance effort.
3. Complete and consistent product presentations
Technical data, application instructions, and hazardous goods labels should be complete, consistent, and reliable in order to provide customers with a clear basis for decision-making.
Before introduction: Distributed data and manual processes Product data was maintained in different locations and many processes were separate from one another. Information was not transferred automatically, meaning that work steps often had to be performed twice.
After the introduction: A central platform for all product data with PIM, data maintenance has been centralized and all relevant channels reliably connected.

The introduction of the ainavio PIM system has significantly accelerated and simplified operational processes at Waschguru. Processes that previously took a lot of time are now largely automated. New products can be released more quickly and existing processes can be managed more efficiently.
The introduction of the ainavio PIM system has significantly simplified and accelerated product data management at Waschguru. The central database, clearly structured processes, and automated provisioning across all channels have noticeably reduced manual effort. New products are now online faster, information is reliably available, and the team has more time for tasks that create real added value.
At the same time, the PIM system forms the basis for further growth. Additional brands, product lines, or sales channels can be easily added without impacting daily operations. Customers benefit from complete, consistent, and understandable product information, regardless of where they shop.
